Reversing Our Oceans print by Alice Combe | Creative, Designer & Illustrator

Reversing Our Oceans

Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans, and it's predicted that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the Ocean than fish.

I designed this print to raise awareness about the growing effect plastic is having on our marine life, and illustrate this alarming predicted future.

Each section of the print represents a different point in time: two for the past, two for the present, and two for the future. As you move across the print, you can see the build-up of plastic and the reduction of marine life.

This print was later adapted into a moving image to further illustrate the plastic problem.
